The Waston patent Embrace Rib Fixation System is an internal fixation solution designed for the surgical treatment of rib fractures and chest wall injuries. It provides stable and reliable fixation to restore chest wall integrity and support bone healing.
The Embrace rib fixation allows for quick, efficient fixation of multi-rib trauma in anextreme low profile implant.
With no requirement for drilling, the bone is embraced by the implant using first classinstrumentation to create a stable fracture site without creating further trauma to the bone.
The Embrace can be easily applied to upper posterior ribs which is not achievable with traditional plate and screw systems.
